Based on Lesia Ukrainka’s dramas “Iphigenia in Tavrida”, “Cassandra”, “The Orgy”, “Ruphin and Priscilla”, Stone Master”, the paper highlights peculiarities of cultural historical codes Antiquity Middle Ages writer's works as well literary manifestation world-view features European Ukrainian Modernism antique medieval images motifs.
 Ukrainka reconsidered heritage archaic late Antiquity, Hellenistic period, Galilee at time Jesus, Early Christianity, Medieval Spain. Each these epochs has its own dichotomy social biological phenomena, parameters world model, dominant fundamental points.
 transform material various epochs, providing polysemantic that transfer cosmos a certain period into neo-romantic neo-classical system symbols. In dramas, writer raised issues recurrent her works, such love sacrifice; beauty ugliness; prophet, artist ‘revolt masses’; reality dream; good evil; truth benefit; nostalgia for chivalry; Absolute; psychological moral freedom violence; spirit, soul, body; spiritual nobility rule brutes; nature culture, etc. 
 Numerous characters, multifunctional ontological, cultural, codes, symbols, mythologems acquire an existential meaning author’s fitting not only contexts but also modern reconsideration mythopoetics.
